526 Main is a dueling piano bar and premier hotspot located in Downtown Royal Oak. 526 Main has a wonderful upscale ambiance with their granite walls dark red tapestries and a large elevated stage occupying the center the room. They also utilize twelve big screen televisions not only to show programming but also as accent pieces. Celebrity chef Michael Symon owned B Spot which he has referred to as a casual version of his insanely popular restaurant Roast at the Westin Book Cadillac Detroit. The B may have tipped you have that the focus is on burgers. The menu includes the Yo! Burger, which won best burger at SoBe in 2010, 2011 & 2012, with fried salami, capicola, hot peppers, shasha sauce & provolone. They also have an extensive beer & wine selection in addition to hand crafted cocktails & at least 13 different Bourbons on hand.

Craft is a hipster paradise, imagine a upscale bar decorated with vintage record players, edison bulbs, wood paneling, wallpaper, and bicycles; that's Craft. Located beneath Bastone Brewery it has a very 1970's basement vibe with a wall of old speakers placed behind the bar. They have live entertainment on Thursday nights and a DJ Friday and Saturday. Craft is known for serving absinthe as well as a wide array of exclusive craft cocktails, and Bastone beer of course. Food wise they have a small menu including "Beef Cheek Empanadas" for the brave.

Mr. B's needs no introduction as everyone in Metro Detroit is aware of it. But they have completely revamped their menu, they now work from scratch and have dishes such as hand trimmed NY strip steak with a Guinness Mushroom sauce, puff pastry pot pies available in chicken, vegetarian and shepherds pie varieties. Other dish varieties include salads, burgers, pizza with home made dough, a wide variety of sandwiches, various options of potatos, and some Mexican staples like nachos, quesadillas, enchiladas and wet burritos. Worth a visit.
